I installed vb last saturday and I have selected GD for the image software to manipulate the images to fit on the posts and avatars. My problem is that GD doesnt seem to work. Is there something I can do to correct this issue? any input would be greatly appreciated.

Is GD installed on your server? Check via phpinfoenvironment: Centos 6.9, Apache v2.4.25, PHP 5.6.30/xCache, MariaDB 10.22 -- vB5 Connect Licensed

I'm not sure how to check it thru phpinfo...sorry. How do you do that?Comment

admincp > maintenance > php info > press CTRL + F > search with GD
you should get something like
GD Support enabled
GD Version bundled (2.0.34 compatible)
You can also try using imagemagic which is better than GD. put this as imagemagic path: /usr/binComment
