    prefix_vb4_cmsanswered_title_rich Customizing Subnavigation Links for the ARTICLES Navigation tab

    Hello;

    How do I create custom sub-navigation menu links for my Articles Navigation Tab? I have custom pages that I want linked.

    I can do this in the Navigation Manager for other Tabs (Blogs / Forum, etc.), but can't seem to find a way to do this for my Articles Tab.

    Thanks for any help,

    Jack

    Edit the CMS root node, the default name is "The Front Page". On the edit, you'll be able to select the pages you want to show up in the Sub-navigation.

    To edit it, you need to click on the pencil icon on the front-end.

      Thank you Wayne.

      Where do I find the CMS root node? I have never heard of this.

      Thanks,

      Jack

              I have to say that I do admire your way with words..

              I have no idea either and there is a recent pattern to ignore stuff here. I observe it mostly at weekends and I guess that means people take time off...

              I have an issue here that has led to no conclusion still.. So I feel you are justified to ask WTF? And I support you in that...

                Hi;

                I posted this Sunday and got a non-detailed response an hour later. I then posted a follow-up question on Monday (twice) and Tuesday, and here again on Thursday, so it actually seems the opposite to me: they only work 1 day a week.

                I see 5,000 posts about hackers (which, really, should be consolodated into 1), and yet no one can take 3 min and give me some more details. I searched "CMS Root Node" and not a single return gave me the location as to where TF to find this GD thing.

                  Perhaps it is beyond their resources...? Numerous support staff have been moved on and help is slow to come..Perhaps they don't know the answer but don't want to admit it? Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps...

                  I manipulated your words there, apologies for that but again, in full agreement...And some more perhaps....
                  Perhaps, they are overwhelmed by the the amount of support that is required right now and they are unable to respond?

                  Either that or they don't give a fuchkt? Pehaps, perhaps, perhaps......
