[Forum] multiple visitors from the same ip

right now, for the second time today, i have many visistors entering from the same ip.

it's an unusually high number anyway. I've checked the ip with whois and it's located in Germany..

lots of these "visitors" get error messages and therefor they seem to be bots of some king..

anybody have any clue as to what is happening?

    thanks

Hard to know wihtout the full ip, but unless they're causing some serious load on the server, best to just ignore them.

Why are you hiding the full IPs?

in my forum there's a catch and bots cannot register that easily, even without captcha (i have it disabled).

furthermore, i suppose i can just ban his ip, right?

If it makes you feel better then you can ban his IP address.
