I need some help ... I noticed this in other forums ...
If someone wrote a new thread and other members reply to it .. he or she gets notification in email
that someone replied to his thread ... he or she gets 3 notifications at least ...

Users can subscribe to threads and set it up so they get an email whenever there is a reply to the thread. Is that what is going on?

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

Then they can just subscribe to the thread. Or, they can go to their Settings > General Settings > Default Thread Subscription Mode: and set it to Instantly, Using Email if they want to be automatically subscribed to all threads they start or reply to.
