Unregistered users cannot view attachments or video

    Is this as designed?
I look around in usergroup permissions and cannot seem to find the can view option?

I also look in the attachment permissions and there is no option for unregistered users/not logged on..This group doesn't exist.

Ok, working example or not working example to be more accurate..

Please go here and click on the image... https://www.mightymoiety.com/showthr...full=1#post131
If I am signed in, it will expand, not as much as I would like to expand but expand all the same..

However, if I am unregistered, i get something I don't want to see... How do I stop that?

            Thanks...

The permissions for this are in admincp > vBulletin CMS > Permissions. You must click to view the permissions for that section.... if they inherit permissions from an 'above' section, you must go look at the permissions for that section. Now see if the usergroups may view attachments for that section.

I have this set in the usergroup unregistered users/not logged on.

                  Can view attachments yes

In the CMS permissions every usergroup is set yes (can read).

Is there a bug related to this issue? I think I remember having this problem before.. Thanks for your time..

                  This is still not settled...

When an unregistered user visits the page and doesn't see the attachment, they naturally click on the link and get taken to here.

Invalid Attachment specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator.

Please try it https://www.mightymoiety.com/content...in-North-Korea and let me know what is going on and on and on....

Also here as this is going on just a bit too long. http://www.theadminzone.com/forums/s...d.php?t=104833

                  Thank YOU..
