[Forum] I need help in as simplifed a form as possible, without using computer lingo please.:

How do I get in to my User Control Panel, or whatever it's called.
The people who sold me my website also included the names of the two employees who bought it for me.

I want to transferr ownership to me, but no one seems to know how to.
I've been told by VBulliten has been transferred to me, but that's not true: two employees are the only people mentioned when I go on to my User Control Panel. If it really is a User Control Panel.

    Sincerely,
    [email protected]

    You mean Admincp?
This is via http://sitename.com/forum/admincp (what ever it is for you)
However they MUST have set you up as an ADMIN first, or you will have to get technical to sort it out
    environment: Centos 6.9, Apache v2.4.25, PHP 5.6.30/xCache, MariaDB 10.22 -- vB5 Connect Licensed

When I go to that site you posted, I get a page with no news on it, and in the middle of that page, I
get an error message: You tried going to http://www.nkscouting.com/forum/admincpand it doesn't exist.

The "User Control Panel" was a term used in VB 3.x... it has basically been replaced as "Settings" in VB 4.x and is accessible at the top of any forum/blog/cms page page on your site:

Name:	vb4settings.jpg
Views:	1
Size:	29.2 KB
ID:	3685763

The Admin Control Panel or ACP login screen looks like this:

Name:	vb4admincp.jpg
Views:	1
Size:	28.3 KB
ID:	3685764

and as was explained is usually found at: http://www.yourste.com/admincp or http://www.yourste.com/forums/admincp

As has been explained to you many times before, no one can give you the username and password to login here, you need an Admin account to access this part of your forum. If you purchased the forum from someone else they will need to tell you what the admin username and password is.
