    [Forum] Mod_rewrite furl question

    Hi,

I'm using the mod_rewrite FURLs on my forum with the .htaccess file that comes with the forum package.

I'm also using a language that has some special characters like "őűóá". The url displays these characters, but i'd like them displayed without the stresses on the top (so to say). So I'd like these characters in my url as "ouoa"

What do I have to change in the .htaccess?

    Thanks

I don't believe that is possible with htaccess.

It would require modification of vBulletin code which isn't supported here but can be discussed on vBulletin.org.

It should be possible, I've seen it on other forums.

It's not impossible, but I think it would need more than an htaccess file to accomplish. It is not a default feature of vBulletin.
