Hi,
i have trouble with my forum:
My provider UK2.net had some problems with their sql servers. I dont really know if they are fixed. The fact is that i have still problems with my site. I see problems and errors on my database, like:
mademybe_vbulletin.contenttype
Error: Incorrect information in the file: `./mademybe_vbulletin/contenttype.fr,`
error: Corrupt
--
mademybe_vbulletin.cpsession
note: The storage engine for the table doesn`t support check
Here is the feedback of my provider. I dont have any ideas what i should do, because i still think that uk2.net still have problems..
Thank you for your replies. I am sorry for the delay of the reply as mentioned before the restoration of the databases had to wait for the admins to get back in the office yesterday. When they got the database from the backups the same error occurs so the database so the databse information was corrupt before the the MySQL started having problems. When trying to repair the database error the system still shows error messages like:
mademybe_vbulletin.contenttype
Error : Incorrect information in file: './mademybe_vbulletin/contenttype.frm'
error : Corrupt
mademybe_vbulletin.cpsession
note : The storage engine for the table doesn't support repair
in many different places, if your software is trying to connect to one of the corrupted tables it can cause the connection to fail. If you would please provide us with the pages that are connecting to the other databases so that we can check them and make sure that they are using the correct information to connect to the databases.
Yesterday our admins did work on the MySQL system on the server that you are on to check for and repaired anything that looked like it would cause connection problems. If you are still having issues please provide us with examples, if they are connecting to the corrupt tables then the tables will need to be dropped and uploaded from a non-corrupt copy. If there is something else we will be able to further investigate the connection issues.
