[Forum] Unable to Edit Some Posts

    Just started today.

At first I thought it was an issue with BB code, but it's not, because I can edit this without problem.

I'm unable to edit certain posts like this, which I was able to edit fine the other day. The history project's done there, but I started it on SEGA Forum back on January 1 and have been copying and pasting. Anyway, I get a blank editor, and if I go into the advanced editor, it's still blank and I get the following error message:

The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 1 characters.
Could it just be some temporary server hiccup?

I'm willing to PM a test admin account to staff.

Settings -> Options -> Message Editing and Posting Options -> Ignore Words in [QUOTE] Tags For Min Chars Check

Set that to no... Your posts look like nothing by quotes.

I'm not sure what you mean by this, but that option's already on no.

Okay, looks like it's a site issue.

Just tried on Google Chrome, and I get the same issue.

Can't really guess at what the issue is without access to the server. Could be a plugin, could be a bad PHP version. Really not enough information to determine the cause.

I have access to the server to perform backups. I can send you the info via PM if you want.

Wayne, here is a video that may help.

                Hi, Wayne.

Just wanted to let you know that I started the same topic over on vBulletin.org Forum and the issue is with our host upgrading us from PHP 5.2 to PHP 5.4 on Saturday. So we've just got to wait for 4.2.2 to be out of its alpha and beta stages and we'll be good to go!
