I need to know how to get rid of my CAPCHA, and replace it with a brief question and answer.
    CAPCHA doesn't stop spammers.

In your Admin Control Panel go to:

    Settings

    Then go to:

    Human Verification Manager.

Change your options as you want to.

Your Admin Control Panel is the "Admin Area" you login to when you click the "Admin" link on the footer of your forum page, or you go to (usually) http://yoursite.com/forums/admincp/

On the side menu click on "Settings" and then "Human Verification Manager."

I don't know how to put in Admin and then a password. I don't know what my password is.

            Thanks.

If you don't know what your admin password is you can't do anything so you best sort that out first before asking about human verification help.

I don't know my screen name or password. VBulletin will only give me a password, but I don't know which password goes with the name
                "Admin"

                Thanks

Your username is probably not "Admin" - it is whatever you put in when you setup your forum.

If you honestly don't know your own username or password how do you login to your own forum?

I had been putting the word "Admin" in to the "User Name" section. I mean, it had worked for months, putting "Admin" in.
So I don't know the password for Admin, only for my other names: NelsonJonKane and nkscouting. But I can't make
changes using those names. The way the computer sees it, NelsonJonKane and nkscouting are just user-names, and you have to log in as
                    Admin to make changes.

                    Thanks

I am unable to log in to my own forum. I used to use the name "admin," but I don't know a password for that. I used to have a password that I made up, which was simple to remember. But when I email VBulletin, they only give me my member number, or a password for NelsonJonKane or nkscouting.

                      Thanks

vBulletin company does not and cannot know what username or password you used on your own forum.

This data is stored only on your own server/host and vBulletin does not have access to it.

Have you tried following the "Forgot Password" link on your own form to retrieve your password?

When you put in an incorrect username and password it will come up with a box like this, the link is by the red arrow.

You'll need to ask the people that set your forum up for you. We don't know the login information for your site and have never known the information.
