New Registration Notification

Is there an option somewhere for this?

How does admin know when a new registration is made?

Or is it really a matter of checking in everyday?

I do get an email notification vb5 and it was carried over from 4.2 settings. Check All Settings in admincp and ctrl+f search for "email" or "registration", I'm sure it's in there somewhere. I do think a vb notification (private on profile) for admins is a great idea.

Ok, I will look again...It must be in there somewhere, it is an obvious requirement...
Any notification would be good, I also like the idea of having it notify me in the panel rather than email.

In Admin CP -> Settings -> Options -> User Registration Options, there is a setting - Email Address to Notify About New Members, just put your email address there.

Added a Jira item for the idea to notify in the panel, FWIW...

What I *really* want is for those Messages to be automatically dismissed when you read them! (With ability to mark as unread, as opposed to the other way around)... I think that's in Jira item in there for that.
