Is it possible to upload videos rather than embedding them? I would rather host the video than use YouTube. How would I go about doing this as there only seems to be an option to embed?

Uploading Videos?
That would be work outside of vBulletin. Check vbulletin.org or code yourself, as those are really your options, as embedding is not directly supported. Leveraging the attachments system may also be feasible, but there will be some work on your side to embed and play. -
As stated above there is no built in vBulletin feature to upload and stream videos. Video files can be uploaded like any other attachment if you give permission to attach such files (.mpg, .avi, .flv, etc...).
But to play them will need some custom modification. I know there are several threads about locally hosted video players on vBulletin.org, not sure if any succeeded.Comment

Ive tried uploading short (30 seconds) video clips from my iPad library. It never works, it seems to be working but never finishes. Can Vbulletin support video uploads? How?
