Emails to users

Is it really essential to fill all the fields in sending a simple email to all users? Or is there an option that I haven't found yet....
I simply want to let people know that we are at the point of readiness...

Correct yes.... There seems like so much to go through in order to send an email.... Is there a less detailed procedure or some mod to take away all of the details involved?

You only need to select usergroups, you don't need to fill in any of the other options below the usergroups- that's only if you want to restrict who gets the emails.

Basically just choose your usergroups, type out a subject and message and hit send.
