How do I remove the number of members from forum statistics?

We use vB 4.2.1 and want to remove the number of members in What's going on. The instructions for VB3 don't work.

Edit FORUMHOME template find and remove

Thanks so much. ....but I can't find the code in FORUMHOME. I did a search in all templates but couldn't find it The Style I am using was a upgraded vB3 style. The admincp is 4.2.1

Can I remove the entire What's going on box but leave the icon legend?

The code is in the default template called FORUMHOME. The complete section starts at <!-- what's going on box --> and ends with <!-- end what's going on box -->.
