Displaying Avatars

OK been messing around with it all day...I had a user group that I went back and allowed avatars for, but nothing is coming up. Do I have to rebuild something for existing users to start showing their avatars if they had an account and had loaded an image but it was not yet enabled? Thx

Is this a problem with all usergroups or only the specific one?
