"Forum Threads" Sidebar Template or Source Code

Hello,

I'm attempting to create a small modification and was wondering if any of our wonderful members and/or staff could point me in the right direction to where I could find the code and/or template for the sidebar widget that displays new forum threads.

If anyone could point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated!
