How to downgrade vbulletin 4.2.1 to 4.2.0

Is there any way to downgrade vBulletin 4.2.1 to 4.2.0. I want to downgrade the version because it seems like there is no fix for my question such as How to change Vbulletin cms home page URL without /content/ and sitemaps have different url - cms without www other with www.

Any help or link? thank you.

Actually there are a couple of ways to downgrade. The easiest would be if you took a backup of your db before the upgrade? If you did, simply roll back to it and replace your forum files too with those from the 4.2.0 package.

The other way would be to first convert to another forum and then convert back to 4.2.0. This is a more tedious and longer way. You might loose some settings in the process like passwords, permissions etc but you can straighten them out manually afterwords and then send a mass email to your users to reset their passwords.

A better thing may be to fix the problems you are having with the upgrade. What seems to be the problem with 4.2.1?

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.
