[CMS] Whats with the swedish database

So Ive been running vb for about 5 years and for the most part avoid the database like the plaque but I've been forcing myself to learn and make sure its set up correctly.

I just now noticed my database is set with latin1_swedish_ci as Collation. Is this a problem for an English US site?

There shouldn't be if you are running 5 years like that, but standard practice is now utf-8 and normal MySQL is now supporting that, you can convert but thats lots of work and you need to practice converting correctly.
