Need help getting Facebook to post to Facebook

So i have installed the facebook App, I can log into my site with facebook, but when i try to like something or post an article to facebook nothing happens? Any thoughts?

If you mean "Publish to Facebook" you need to update some files for it to work-

Download the facebook SDK from https://github.com/facebook/facebook-php-sdk

Upload the three files from \src to your \includes\facebook directory.

Sorry I should have posted that I have already done that. But still nothing, The first time after installing and setting up I Liked and article and it showed up on facebook, but ever since that it has stopped working.

Interesting. When I use the Facebook Debugger on a random thread on your site I get an "Error that MUST be fixed" - the Problem is your Facebook Image URL (In Admin CP -> Settings -> Options -> Facebook) is missing the http:// part of the URL. URL's always include http://.

Once you fix that it should all work.

hahah, I will try that, makes sense because after the first post is showed a blank image and then i fixed it, so that very well could be. Thanks so much hope it works.

I got it to work, Also my facebook had a forum/ that the forum didn't actually have, but anyways is it possible to post a facebook page, instead of my own, I own the page but its not my default account?

Posting to a facebook page instead of your wall would require modifying the code.

At best it would require modifying the code. I've never seen anyone be able to get it to work that way- you're welcome to try but it wouldn't be supported and unfortunately I have no clue where to start.

So you can only post to your personal facebook page? I am confused why, why would anyone want to do that. Well thanks for the help everyone, but i guess this will not work.

I have a wordpress plugin that does it (I know its not VB), it allows you to select what page you are posting to, can I ask how https://www.facebook.com/HISSTANK, they are using vb and it looks like it works for them.
