Facebook Connect doesn't show for IE Users VB4.2.1

I'm running (vBulletin 4.2.1) and have setup Facebook Connect, it's working fine for Chrome and Firefox but the badge doesn't show up on IE. I've tested IE7, IE9 and IE10, I don't have IE8 available.

I believe there's an issue still with this in IE. It's due to changes at Facebook's end.

Any plans to fix this in vB4? This is a pretty major feature that is broken on a major browser platform. I note vB5 and Xenforo seem to have this working.

Anyone happen to know if 4.2.2 resolved the Facebook Connect issues with Internet Explorer? I see the patch notes mention a couple Facebook updates, but no specific information about fb connect.

Well, shouldn't you fix it on your end? Especially after all of this time.

Allowing people to register/login via Facebook is an important feature. Like it or not, there are some people who don't know the internet exists outside of FB. And, almost 50% of our non-mobile users use MSIE.

If it was up to support staff every bug would be fixed in every version by the end of the day. Unfortunately the reality is there are limited developers working on multiple projects and bugs get prioritized- some get fixed quickly and others end up sitting around, sometimes for a long time.

Although it is not a guarantee the way to show this is an important issue to you is to "vote" for it in JIRA which you can do here- http://tracker.vbulletin.com/browse/VBIV-15541
