[CMS] Missing CMS option setting in 4.2.1

In admin CP under Settings > Options > Content Management....

Where did the "Point CMS default to index.php" setting go?

I have just started a new project and am using the latest 4.2.1 build, and in the process of setting up CMS to act as index root url,... I noticed this setting is now gone??

Has it been moved somewhere else?
Or is there a new procedure to get mydomain.com to show up on CMS home page instead of mydomain.com/content/?

(if it matters I use modrewrite urls.)

    Thanks

Check AdminCP -> Settings -> Navigation Manager and set the default page there.
No private support, only PM me when I ask for it. Support in the forums only.

Checked that per your suggestion, and the default page is set correctly.
And it works as set, so that looks good.

The issue I am finding is not the setting of the default page, but the setting of the default root url.

When I navigate in my browser to ht tp://www.mysite.com
      (preferred)

The browser instead loads and shows ht tp://www.mysite.com/content/
(not preferred)(although the default page is correct.)

On a site where I am using 4.2.0pl3, along with my htaccess file, I had to set
In admin CP under Settings > Options > Content Management
the setting: "Point CMS default to index.php"

But this no longer exists in 4.2.1 on a fresh install with no add-on's.

So maybe I should ask it differently?

In admin CP under Settings > Options > Content Management....

Where did the "Point CMS default to index.php" setting go?

Is this a bug? or is this a setting that has been pulled out from the 4.2.1product?

Its gone, as the articles.php has replaced it, and the index.php file always routes the file to the correct location. Trying to use the index.php file in 421 as the cms will leave you an issue where the query strings don't get forwarded properly.

Thanks and I was not aware of that.
If I may ask, so I may attempt an upgrade, when I tried it I could not get the desired result of h ttp://www.mydomain.com and instead I achieved h ttp://www.mydomain.com/content/.

Did I miss something that I had to do with any other settings?

You can likely use the CMS component url to force it into the index.
