I personally think the moderator permissions don't make any sense at all...
Forums & Moderators > Show All Moderators > Moderators > [Edit]
This will display the moderator permissions for the selected forum (page title is "Edit Moderator <user> for Forum <forum>").
The sections "Visitor Message Permissions", "Groups Permissions", "User Permissions" and "User Album Permissions" have nothing to do with forums. I need to replicate these permissions to all the forums this moderator has access to, which makes maintaining very hard... What happens when I have different permissions set, then this is ambigue, so which settings are then actually in effect? Shouldn't these settings be moved to the user profile under a new option named "Moderator Permissions"? Then you have to maintain these permissions only once!
Forums & Moderators > Show All Moderators > Super Moderators > [Edit Permissions]
This will display the global super moderator permissions.
Users in a usergroup with setting "Can Moderate All Forums (is Super Moderator) = Yes" are displayed as super moderators on this page. But these users won't have a record in the "moderator" database table. So what super moderator permissions are actually in effect? And if I ever save the super moderator permissions, a record is created, but I can never delete it (unless I do it directly in the database). So I can never return to the default permissions in effect. And what happens when the setting "Can Moderate All Forums (is Super Moderator)" changes to "No", will the saved super moderator permissions still be used, since the record will not be deleted?
What do you think?
