    [Forum] Contact Form Spam

Is there a way to stop spam via the built in contact form?

Haven't had an issue up until today, and now we have hundreds of spam emails coming through.

    Cheers

First of all you can expend Q&A to like 10 - 20 questions and answers (AdminCP -> Settings -> Human Verification Manager), then you can use modifications (can be found at www.vbulletin.org) to prevent spammers like SPAM-O-Matic. Here you will find a thread on how to prevent spammers from registering on your forum (please keep in mind that we don't officially support third party modifications):

Here you will find a post about how to reduce spam and registration bots:

Also have a look at AdminCP -> Settings -> Options -> Spam Management.

Did you enable it in AdminCP -> Settings -> Human Verification Options?

Are you checking as a guest? If you're logged in it won't show (by default).

                  I was yes. I've just re-checked today, and it's working. Maybe I didn't logout.

                  Thanks guys.
