Hi, I'm upgrading from 4.2.0 to 4.2.1 the latest full edition and its not upgrading. I go through all the upgrade steps and it says that its upgrading vb 4.2.0 not 4.2.1. I have checked the files and they indicate that they are 4.2.1 not 4.2.0. I've tried in 2 different browsers (firefox & chrome). The site is running vBSEO as well although I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it or not. I overwrote all the files in the file upload. I've done tons of upgrades before for clients and never have had this happen. Can someone tell me why its doing this?
Trying to upgrade from 4.2.0 to 4.2.1...not working

When you go to the upgrade.php script - what does it say in the upper right corner for the versions?
Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

It says 4.2.0. That does not make any sense. I uploaded ALL the files via FTP ans over wrote the other files & checked the files when this first started and they are 4.2.1 version.Comment

Most often this cause is accidentally uploading the files to the wrong folder, or even the wrong account completely.
For example if you have your working forums installed in domain.com/forums/ you may have an old/broekn install in just domain.com and are uploading the files to the wrong one.
If you start a support ticket be sure to include ftp or cpanel log in details.
