    [Forum] Smilies in URLs

So whenever I type a URL a :/ smiley appears.

Should I simply avoid having :/ defined as a smiley? It seems odd that there wouldn't be a setting to exclude smileys from URL's?

Maybe I'm just getting forgetful in my old age.. anyone?

Absolutely avoid using :/ as a smiley.

I wish I never allowed short smileys like :) and if I could do it over again I would change :) to :smile so that it wouldn't interfere with other text with this combination.

      Hrm, alright..

I checked my other forum, and I got around it by using long-form it seems. So :-\ instead of :\ for example.
