[CMS] Preventing users from editing articles after promotion

Hi i have a forum page where different users are able to submit their articles.

After the article is published and promoted by a moderator/admin on the CMS front page we noticed the user is still able to edit the article? However the permission to edit the article in the forum is enforced and is working.

How can we prevent the author of the article from editing their own piece at a later time on the CMS even though they cant edit their piece on the forums?

What permissions do their usergroup(s) have for that specific section in admincp > vBulletin CMS > Permissions? Look at the permissions for every usergroup they are a member of.

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

Hi i have looked high and low, they are part of one userground which is the 'Registered' Usergroup. They have no editing capabilities on the forums, however they are still able to edit their articles on the front page.

The permissions are set as follows for the 'Registered' usergroup:

      Can Read Yes
      Can Download Attachments Yes
      Create Content No
      Edit Others Content No
      Can Publish No
Can Use HTML in CMS Content No

This seems to be a bug. You should add it to the tracker so the devs can look into it.

This bug has been highlighted since April and nothing seems to have happened since:
