In the Admin CP -> Users -> Prune/Move users will allow you to mass delete users by date and/or post count, may be useful.
If you haven't already deleted their posts then you shouldn't prune them because posts don't get deleted when the user does, they simply turn to guest posts.
In the front end mod tools you can select any spam post and choose "Delete as Spam" from the menu, this will allow you to delete all posts by the user (up to 50) and ban them in one step.
If users have over 50 posts you can delete them from the Admin CP -> Threads & Posts -> Prune, and scroll to the very bottom to delete all posts by a user.
