[Forum] posts and topics moderated where they should not be

hi.
vBulletin 4.1.5 Patch Level 1.
When members of the "user" group post to Forum A on my site, their posts and threads are placed to "To be moderated" and I have to approve those before they are posted.
I double checked that the the forum permission is NOT set to require moderation.
I double checked that the usergroup permissions on forum A are not set to require moderation.
I am missing something. any help?

Are you using one of the Anti-Spam tools from here:

AdminCP > Settings > Options > Spam Management

Akismet

Akismet is picking their posts up as potential spam posts in that case. You'll either need to put up with it or disable the Akismet option
