If you're referring to CMS thumbnails, they use the 'image_thumbnail_max' StyleVar.Comment

I'm bringing this thread back from the dead
I also want to increase the size of the thumbnails on the home page and I don't know how to do it.
If i edit the image_thumbnail_max style var it changes the thumbnail size in the article itself but when part of the article is being displayed on the front page as a preview and it displays the first image it doesn't seem to matter what size that style var is set to, it still displays quite small so I can't see that being the right style var, or I'm missing something fundamental, whihc is very possible
Maybe my terminology is wrong and it's not a thumbnail, it is the image displayed on the home page previews.
Any help with this please, I'd be very grateful. I just want those preview images bigger...Comment

ok, i think i've found my issue, or the resolution to it
options/content management Use Thumbnails in Preview defaults to YES, if you switch this to NO the image size on the preview page is now adjustable using the style var image_thumbnail_max
That sound right?Comment
