[CMS] Create/edit article Apply button problem in Chrome and IE9

When creating or editing a CMS article in Google Chrome or IE9, after pressing the Apply button all text changes made in the editor are forgotten and all new line characters are erased form the text.
Clicking the Save button works normally. Only the Apply button has the problem.

Firefox 5 or IE9 in compatibility mode do not experience the problem, but Chrome (12.0.742.122) and IE9 in normal mode do have it.
Site is running vBulletin 4.1.4 PL2, no extra plugins are installed.
