    Here's the first 10 entries from that query. I've tried dropping the importattachmentid column and it made no difference.

      Install a test forum which is complete stock. Use phpmyadmin and compare the filedata structure between the stock forum and your forum. Also compare the attachments table structure between the two.

        @Darksome... that data looks ok, and they *should* delete. Ticket time

          I could not duplicate this problem on an unmodified 4.1.5 test forum with no add-ons. When I permanently deleted a post with an attachment, the attachment file was also removed from the file system. I did a before and after list of the directory to confirm this.

            I was trying to figure out how to Delete Attachments as well and came upon this thread. I'm running 4.1.5 so maybe it may not apply for other VB versions, but I found a simpler way to delete attachments after uploading it. Apparently it is not as easy as clicking the box on the attachment and "X"ing it out because there's no "X".

            Admin CP > Attachments > Attachment Statistics > (from there you can locate who is attaching the largest/most files...could be yourself) > delete
