[Forum] Search issues

After upgrading from VB 3.8 to 4.1.4 I have been having search issues.
I have this issue with a few user that I have tried doing a search on for post by them.
If I use the advance search function in the forums and search by user name, it will not find all the post by the user.
However if I go into the Admincp and pull up the user and use the Quick User Links and pick "Find Posts by User", it pulls up all the post by the user.
Why does it not pull up all the users posts up in an advance forum search but it will in the admincp?

All my forums are searchable.
I have done the following in the Maintenance section of the Admincp:
rebuilt search index
rebuilt thread information
rebuilt forum information
updated user names

What is causing this?

OK, I found where I was going wrong but I also have a question because I think there is still an issue.
When I pull up advance search it defaults to "Search Multiple Content Types". If I put a check mark in "All Type" and search the user name block by typing in the users name it will not pull up all the posts.

But when I change the search table to "Single Search Content Type" and search the user name block by typing in the users name it does pull up all the users post.

If I am using the other tab "Search Multiple Content Types" and checking "All Types" then shouldn't that give me the same results?

Thanks for the heads up. I am going to try this on my new install and see what happens. Keep you posted with any results.

I was hoping to get a response from the VB team on this.

Let me ask a question in which I think should produce the same search results.

If I use the advance search feature and I do two different types of searches. I want to know if these search should produce the same results?

Search 1:
I used the "Search Multiple Content Types"
Check March "Posts"
put "attroll" in the user name search
Put a check mark in "Exact match"
Click Search Now

Search 2:
I use the "Single Search Type"
I user the search type "Posts"
put "attroll" in the user name search
Put a check mark in "Exact match"
Click Search Now

Now, should these produce the same search results?
The reason I am asking is because they do not.
