  • [Forum] How can I hide specific sub-forums?

I have a ton of sub-forums and would like to hide some of them, thus they'd still appear under their parent forum (after clicking) but would NOT be listed on the main index page, how can I do this? I know you can go into vBoptions and set sub-forums to "0" but this makes them all invisible and I just want to hide specific sub-forums and only on the main forum.php page.

I've hunted around and found some <if> conditional solutions for vB3.X but they don't seem to work after upgrading to vB4, while others are missing instructions.

    Example

    Example 2
    https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/show...home-page-only

PS - At present my sub-forums display all clumbed up next to each other, is there any way to make them display as more like a two column list?

By editing each sub forum in "Forum Permissions" it will remain forum specific and will not affect other sub forums, you can also utilise "posting options" for a similar result.

That is not correct.........................in "Forum Permissions", choose the Forums you wish to edit and use the settings indicated in the screenshot..........
