How can I temporarily disable the entire "What's Going On" section until my site has grown to a reasonable size of registered members, threads and posts? (I searched this topic under vB4 and couldn't find an answer.)

Edit your FORUMHOME template and find:
HTML Code:<!-- what's going on box -->
HTML Code:<vb:if condition="!$show['member'] AND !$show['guest']"> <!-- what's going on box -->
HTML Code:<!-- end what's going on box -->
HTML Code:<!-- end what's going on box --> </vb:if>

No problem! And whenever you want to view it again, just simply remove that conditional"Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time!"

Glad you got it sorted. If you need further assistance, please start a new thread with the full details of your issue....this thread is almost eight years old and advice provided in it may well be out of date and thus can cause confusionMARK.B
