[Forum] bravia, bravia, bravia, please make it stop! spam spam spam

Surely I'm not the only one getting killed from spam bots registering on their forums with all the references to the word "bravia". I have two forums one using 3.8 and one using 4.1 and they are getting killed with user registrations.

Most of these never get the chance to post messages but I'm spending too much time deleting or banning these users.

    Does anyone have a solution?

Surely with all the resources that vBulletin has they can or should have a helpful solution to making sure registrations are not spam bots.

And don't worry, I have all the captcha things, etc in place and they still get in.

Indeed, there are countless threads regarding spam and how to prevent your forum from being overrun. Just add into the small upper right search box the word "spam" and hit enter.

But that's exactly my point guys, all the attempted fixes and hacks are modifications to the vBulletin core. This is something vBulletin needs to focus on in future upgrades and not incorporate things like Skimlinks.

I already have this installed and it does help.
