[CMS] How to make CMS article comments appear in ascending order instead of descending?

How to make CMS article comments appear in ascending order instead of descending?

I would like the newest comment to always be first, as I do not believe the comments will be read once the pass the first page. I've tried switching the default sort order in the vBCms comments forum to ascending, but this produced no change in the CMS.
