[CMS] How do I make an article (automatically) have the same published date as the post?

I am transfering hundreds of posts from my "news forum" into CMS articles. And apart from the fact that there is no way to batch convert all posts/threads into CMS articles (which is a real shame!), one other thing bugs me:
I have to manually edit the article's published-date in order to make sure it appears in the right order.

Is there really no way to at least automatically transfer the published-date of the post into the article?

No, there isn't. The only other way to do this would be to manually edit the publish date/time in the database en masse.
