[CMS] Making the Front Page Smaller

I'am having a bit of a problem making the Front Page section smaller where the article preview is. I have found the entry that controls that section but when i alter the setting from 100% to 50% the widgets also get smaller that is something i do not want. How can i alter the Front Page without altering the widgets.

This is for the default template.

It sounds like what you really want is a different grid/layout? If so, go to admincp > vBulletin CMS > grid manager and create, or see if there already is, a grid with your requirement. Create a layout from it (layout mananger) and then apply that layout to the section.

Well i wanted to alter a grid but i have now the 25%, 50% 25% grid its not 100% what i want but its close enough. Now to alter the rest even further.

Yes but it was 25%, 75% 240px grid first now that i have the 25% + 50% + 25% grid it is better but the 50% is still to big and i cant seem to make it any smaller then that.

Found it i needed to alter yui-tvb-l50 in the css now its great.

Altering the above css selector it worked so this one is solved.
