Sorry if this has been covered before but I couldn't find it in the search.
When someone submits an article to the site (via the cms itself) it disappears and is only visible via the direct URL. This person has the ability to create and edit articles but not publish them.
If someone who has the publish permission edits it and saves it without doing anything else, it shows up in the relevant section as "Not Published" exactly as it should.
Why is it that when the original author saves it, it does not appear? It makes it very hard for editors to find articles that need to be published when they don't show up. They don't even show up in the list when you are editing a section.
Any help much appreciated.
