[CMS] Unable to fix email settings.

I contacted my host provider when my vB was unable to use PHPmail, and their end is working properly, but I have been unable to list all the places where I can fix stuff that is related to email settings, to see if I did put in some info wrong.

Which *.php are related to email settings?
I know of the email settings in the backpanel, but it does not even work with SMTP.

Where might I have put in the wrong info?

vB uses the server for it's email. Assuming you have not disabled emails in the Admin CP or in config.php, then if there are problems the issue is either with the server itself or on the receiving end.
