[CMS] vBadvanced style recent theads widget?

I'm a little disappointed with the flexibility/ability to customise the widgets that display recent posts or recently updated threads.

Is there any way I can display threads that have had recent posts added ala vBadvanced? ("Recent Threads" module)

I used to run vBadvanced as a CMS but moved to the vB CMS when I upgraded to vBulletin 4 but feel now it may have been a mistake given how clunky and non user friendly it is.

Also, does anyone know where I can find free third party widgets for the CMS? It would be nice to have more options as I'm seriously considering moving back to vBadvanced.

You can check over on vbulletin.org, the modification site, for widgets. There are a couple pages of them, iirc.

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

There are a lot widgets, you only have to do a better search.
For example a widget for recent threads.
A short instruction how you may find all 66 widgets:
        1) go to vbulletin.org
        2) on the upper right search field add in "widget"
        3) beside this field choose "4.x Mods" and "Titles only"
        voila.
        .......

Or go to the vB4 modifications forum and select CMS Widgets to filter the mods.
