That is what the Recent Posts widget is supposed to show. If you want thread info, use the Recent Threads widget instead.Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)

Steve,
I must be missing something, I can't find "Recent Threads" widget. It seems a little redundant to repeat content of the latest post in the title rather than use the original title of the thread to maintain continuity.Comment

You have to create one:
Admin CP -<> vBulletin CMS -> Widgets -> Create New Widget -> Recent Treads
Then you add that widget to your layouts here:

I also have this problem.
The Recent Posts widget used to work properly. Since my upgrade from 4.0.3 to 4.1.0pl2 it is doing something unpleasant.
I tried the "Recent Thread" widget and that isn't what I want.
To demonstrate I found a randon 4.0.3 site with widget working (attachment1) and compare it to mine (attachment 2)
As you can see, in 4.0.3 if a 'post' has no title, no title is displayed in the widget.
In 4.1.0pl2 if a post has no title, the first few line of the post is used as the title and it looks a mess.Comment
