Were are the Images stored so I can remove the ones that come with vb that were used for example purposes.

Is this stored in the DB or is stored in a file as I looked in every file but just wanted to know were the images for articles are stored

They're stored whever you're storing attachments. They should be on whoevers account you imported the default content on.

You can manage attachments via the frontend Settings > Attachments
or: yoursite.com/forum/profile.php?do=editattachments
