[Forum] Fix For Google Adsense Ads Not Showing Up?

I have some Google Ad code in a few different places on my site. The banners DO NOT show up in any browser.

I have Googled around to try and find an answer and fix, but I can't find anything, but others having the same problem.

I tried to use the Google Adsense code just on my own, without the integrated stuff that comes with vB and then I tried WITH the vB stuff.

I just can't get the ads to show.

There are many people having this problem and we need help!

It did not work on 4.0.1 and does not work on 4.0.7.
Has not worked with Firefox, I.E., Opera, or Chrome.

Multiple people from multiple locations have tried with multiple browsers.

What locations are you adding these to? What is the URL to your site? Is this a customised Style or a default one?
    Vote for:

    - Admin Settable Paid Subscription Reminder Timeframe (vB6)
    - Add Admin ability to auto-subscribe users to specific channel(s) (vB6)

I have tried "Header 1", "Header 2", "Below Navbar", & "Above Footer".

      My site is: www.MyTexasForums.com.

I am using the default theme.

Have you entered your adsense info with vB?

From the Adsense window in ACP:
This screen will allow you to quickly roll-out Google AdSense advertising units into your vBulletin forum advertising templates, based on your Google AdSense account settings defined in the members' area at vBulletin.com.

If you mean on vB.com, yes. "Google AdSense Account Status: Fully Activated".

If you mean on my site, where do I need to look?

I think you have it set on your site from your posts above. I was just thinking maybe you didn't have it set with vB to push those ads to your forum. Were they workign on your 3.X.X site? Have you logged into your Adsense account to make sure it's active and that you have the pub-id number correct?

May I get a walk-through? I looked at the only settings I know, but I may not know what I am doing.

I have never tried to use the ads. before.

Let me login and look for the "pub-id". Thanks.

When you log in to adsense, https://www.google.com/adsense/report/overview your pub id (Publisher Identification) number should be in the top right of the screen. Make sure it matches what you show in your ACP under Adsense. Your forum is trying to serve ads but it looks like they are empty.

If those numbers don't match, you need to correct them here at vb.com

I checked and the correct Pub-ID is in each place.

                    -Grasping at straws here-
Have you 'created' any ads within Google Adsense (above link)?

                    in Tabs
Adsense Setup > Manage Ads > Create a new Adsense Unit

If you haven't created any Ads, Adsense can't serve you any ads...

Without looking at your stuff, I'm not sure what else to try. My Adsense shows perfectly on my vB 3.8.6 forum as well as on my test vB 4.0.8 setup. It's not working on my vB 5.0.2 RC though
