[Forum] Adding Section Widget to Forum Sidebar via forum blocks manager- How??

I like how the contents of my Section Manager appears in the CMS, and I'd like to add the same widget to my Forum Blocks Manager (sidebar in the forums). However, when I go into the CMS > widgets> Section - widget >

It shows as Section Navigation- JS enhanced : click on Configure> and all that shows is:

    vbcms_widget_sectionnavext_page

How do I copy this same feature to apply it to the Forum blocks manager??

You can't (easily) use widgets as forum blocks, as they are different. I want to do the same thing. I have seen somewhere around here (or vb.org) that had a how-to on getting widgets to be able to be displayed on the forum side.

Damn, that always seems to be the case... I find something I want/need to implement, search for 3 days - cant find anything on it- post it on the boards and someone pipes up with "It can't be done".

<g> Thanks for the reply :-)

suspect these will be unified in the future, and that will make for some great mods I think.
          Hmmm. Cheese.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

I have added a side bar with the new forum posts feature, but it will not update the new posts. Any ideas?

You need to start your own thread about your own issue.
