[Forum] I set a Moderator, but he has no "Mod" link.

What setting do I need to check on?

    • I made a member a Moderator.
    • I added some custom settings (I gave him less abilities)
    • He doesn't have a "Mod" link (At the bottom of the forum)

Be careful, super moderators have full moderator access to all forums.

They do not need a modcp link to be a moderator for just a forum. They can still access the modcp for anything they need to, they just need to do something that sends them there. For example if they click on a users profile edit button, then they'll be sent to the modcp.

          Hmm...

I may need to change it back then.

Do I not need to mess with one of these?

To reduce the queries caused by the modcp link they only show it for super mods. What you can do is just give your user the direct link to the modcp and he can then bookmark/favorite it. As a moderator of any forum he will have access to this.
