[Forum] Receiving a 404 Error on the 2nd page of thread IF accessed inside thread?

    Hey All,

I have a thread on my forum, where the 2nd page is sending a 404 error...but only if attempted to be accessed from WITHIN the thread using the Page 2 / Last Page navigation.

If I enter the thread using the "recent posts" listing on the main page...it accesses the page fine.

The error I'm receiving is this:

    Code:
    Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /showthread.php/1110-I-ve-Cracked-The-Google-Places-Maps-Code-And..../page2 on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Apache mod_fcgid/2.3.5 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at www.offlinegoldforum.com Port 80
The thread in question (so you can see yourself) is:
    http://www.offlinegoldforum.com/show...-Maps-Code-And....

Other threads in forum work fine, and can access the pages without issue...

Any suggestions or thoughts on what's causing this?!

    Please help!

It's because of the "...." at the end of the thread title. Try changing that and see if you still have the same problem. (What version are you running?)

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

You are my hero! Fixed it like a charm!

      I'm running 4.0.6

      Was that a glitch?

It is a bug. I'm just not sure if it's been fixed yet which is why I asked what version you were running. (It works fine on my 4.0.7 site.)

I just had the same thing happen - we are on 4.0.7 and it was still an issue.
