    [Forum] image upload failed

    I've recently installed VB4, MySQL, and PHP 5.2.9 on a W2K3 Server I have
Everything about the install went fine and the board is up and running
I've run into a problem regarding uploading images, I've been trying out my first post and I'm trying to

attach images, which upload according to the progress bar but then I get a red circle with an exclamation

indicating the upload failed in some way.
I've googled and searched but all the palliative measures I've tried have just turned up different errors:

If I put it in safe mode (set to /tmp) I get move/copy failed. I've tried putting tmp folders everywhere

    conceivable.

I tried installing imagemagick and it says: Imageinfo Failed: <pre>PHP Error: Unspecified Error in exec

().</pre> but the imagemagick self diagnostic indicates it is working fine

When I turn that off I get: Image resize failed due to your image library not having support for this

image type. (the file is a .jpg)

I can see that the file is being uploaded to windows/temp because a temporary file is created there during

the upload process and then disappears

    The Diagnostics return this:
    file_uploads: On
    open_basedir: None
    safe_mode: Off
    upload_tmp_dir: C:\WINDOWS\Temp
    upload_max_filesize: 2.00 MB
No errors occurred while opening the uploaded file for reading.

You have an upload_tmp_dir set which means you need to enable safe mode in the Admin CP and set the Safe Mode temp Directory to a directory that has been chmod'd to 777. Use the full path to that directory on the server.

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Server Settings and Optimization Options -> Safe Mode Upload Enabled -> Yes
Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Server Settings and Optimization Options -> Safe Mode Temporary Directory

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

        Safe Mode set to Yes
        Directory set to: C:\Documents\Chromakey-Forum\images\temp
temp folder IUSR set to read/write/modify
Error message received when trying to upload a file: Image resize failed due to your image library not having support for this image type. (file was a .jpg)

And what image library are you using exactly - including version?

So you have vboptions > image options > image processing library set to None?
