    [Forum] Reputation pop window opens in new tab now!

    For some reason the pop up when adding to someone's reputation has stopped working.

    It now opens up in a new window instead!

    Anyone shed any light on this rather puzzling situation?

    It's not doing that for me here. However, I do know that there are settings for my browser that control what to do with a popup. Perhaps you changed a browser setting to open popups in new tabs.

    If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

      Thanks Lynne, Ive checked another style I have also and this one opens fine.

      So im thinking it may be CSS problem, class="popupctrl reputation" maybe? something I may have edited by accident.

      Both postbit_legacy templates checkout the same too.

        It would be something with the link. Check the page source and see if there is now a target set for the <a> tag.

          This is the page source:

          <span class="reputationpopupmenu popupmenu popupcustom" title="442"><a class="popupctrl reputation" title="Reputation" href="reputation.php?do=addreputation&amp;p=442" rel="nofollow" id="reputation_442"><!--<img src="images/buttons/reputation-40b.png" alt="Reputation" /> -->&nbsp;</a></span>

          but both are the same in each style; ie one pops up the other opens in new tab.

          im thinking create new style from one that works; delete broken style and revert new style back to default; which is the one where the error is occurring.

            Hmm, very odd if they are the same in both. Perhaps the javascript for the popup isn't in one page but is in the other?
