    [Forum] Transfering Domains

I want to transfer my forum to a new domain, since we are changing names.
What do I do for a successful transfer without losing DATA!?

My backup button is missing! I dont have anything related to backups in my entire ADMINCP!
the maintenance tab does not have the backup option!

if you have ssh access to the machine, try:

        # mysqldump database_name > database_name.sql
        # gzip database_name.sql

you will have a big file called database_name.sql.gz which will contain all your DB info. I guess you can do a crontab based on this and will backup your database daily...

Even if the backup option was at the Acp, it is better to make your backups at phpmyadmin in the cp of your host or through another third party tool such as mysqldumper for ex.
